Issues

Lowering
Property Taxes
The Labrosse Team has reduced property taxes three years in a row and they have a long term plan to continue lowering property taxes by creating new tax revenue from redevelopment and reducing costs.

Revitalizing Main Street
Bringing Main Street back to life by attracting new mixed use development, supporting small businesses and bringing in new ones, opening the new Hackensack Performing Arts Center, and making the street two way again.

Improving Police-Community Relations
The Labrosse Team is working to improve police-community relations by purchasing body cameras for all officers to improve accountability and trust and conducting a comprehensive review of police use of force policies.

Improving Parks and Recreation
The Labrosse Team has invested in our community by totally renovating the M&M Recreation Center, building the new Atlantic Street Park, improving existing parks and moving forward with the Johnson Park Sports Dome project.

Building
Affordable Housing
Mayor Labrosse recently announced a plan to build hundreds of new Affordable Housing units by mandating that new developments in specific zones near mass transit, schools and employers set aside 10% of new units for affordable housing.
